Supporting Families Through Every Stage of Growth

Our Philosophy

Family Minds is a psychiatry practice that combines medical expertise with thoughtful, whole-person care. Treatment is grounded in biology, but always informed by the psychological, social, and environmental context.

The goal is mental wellness, with fostering resilience as an important part of that process. Medication treatments are used with clarity, intention, and collaboration, with a comprehensive review of treatment options when prescribing and deprescribing medications.

Our promise is to meet you with clarity, respect, and care. The practice model was built with this goal in mind: to allow for sustainable, thoughtful, high-quality care.

Recognizing that time can be difficult to find, appointments are available after school and on Saturday mornings to support busy families.

Meet Dr. Leger

Dr. Sabrina Ali Leger is a board-certified psychiatrist in both Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. She is also completing advanced psychiatric training in perinatal and postpartum mental health.

She specializes in working with families across different stages of growth — from pre-conception to young adulthood — and brings a developmental lens to her work through her background in young child therapies and parenting support.

Her approach blends medical expertise with deep clinical understanding, offering thoughtful, collaborative care across life stages. She founded Family Minds to create a space where psychiatric care feels personal, principled, and quietly transformative.
